Social work with the youth
The coordination of university educational work is conducted by the Department of Educational Work and Social Development.
Main directions of educational work:
- moral, aesthetic, physical imperfection of the personality;
- patriotic education, formation of active citizenship mentality;
- the realization of healthy life-style national program;
- student self-management;
- legal education and delinquency prevention.
The Committee on Youth has been created to organize the full support of the students’ interests, and for implementing authorities in the field of the youth policy. The structure of the Committee on Youth:
- Students’ Self-management administration;
- Students' construction teams and "Zhasyl El» squads.
The Students’ Self-management administration is the core structure of the Committee on Youth. The main goals of the Students’ Self-management administration are:
- To increase participation of students in the process of optimizing the high school as a social partner of the university management and the teaching staff;
- To increase levels of responsibility for the quality of the youth education and to promote the growth of organic solidarity in the social space of the university;
- To create conditions for personal growth and social-economic responsibility of the student;
- To create conditions for the development of competitive, marketable and comprehensively developed person.
The development of students groups’ activities is a priority direction for the university in upbringing students by engaging them in socially useful work, the acquisition of professional and managerial skills. Taken from the very beginning by the university management practice of supporting the movement of students' voluntary construction teams, has given good results: the majority of construction works and plans is made by the students who have the opportunity to qualify, to earn some money, to contribute to the development of the university.
Informative and creative department today is a wide range of ensembles and amateur associations of different styles and genres that live an active creative life.
The University has 4 choreographic collectives: show ballet "Ecstasy", show-group "Sharmel", choreographic group "Tarlan" and choreographic group "Juventa". The ensemble of dombra-players has been functioning in the university for 3 years. It consists of 12 talented students.
Students’ "Alrna" TV has been operating since 18th January, 2010. The studio creative team prepares news items, running accounts, feature stories, videos, and perform camera shooting of university activities.
