The Faculty of Energy

The Faculty of Energy was established on the 1st of August, 2018 as a result of the separation of the Department of Power Engineering from the School of Information Technologies and Energy.

The first dean of the faculty was the head of the department of energy, PhD doctor, associate professor, graduate of the presidential program "Bolashak" - Akayev Aibek Muratbekovich.

Energy - the area of ​​economic and economic activities of man, a set of large natural and artificial subsystems, serving to transform, distribute and use energy resources of all kinds. Its goal is to ensure the production of energy by converting primary, natural, energy into secondary energy, for example, into electrical or thermal energy.

The faculty carries out preparation on 2 specialties of a bachelor's degree and 2 specialties of a magistracy.

The faculty trains specialists in demand in various energy companies and industrial enterprises, including Kazzinc LLP, AO VK REC, KEMONT JSC, Ust-Kamenogorsk Kondensor Plant, U-ka TEC LLP, U-ka HPP LLP and others.
