The Youth Affairs Committee

The Youth Affairs Committee is a structural subdivision of the Higher IT College of D. Serikbayev EKTU and is created to implement goals aimed at solving important issues of student youth, developing their social activity, supporting and implementing social initiatives.

The purpose of the Youth Affairs Committee is to form the civic activity of students, to promote the development of their social maturity, the ability to self-organize and self-development.

The tasks of the Youth Affairs Committee are:

  • assistance in protecting and representing the rights and interests of students, including in solving educational, social and other issues affecting their interests;
  • assistance to the college management in solving educational problems, in organizing leisure and everyday life of students, in promoting a healthy lifestyle;
  • assistance to the structural units of the college in their activities within the framework of the educational and educational process;
  • involvement of students to participate in the formation and implementation of youth policy;
  • development of the foundations of democratic culture, formation of students' need to participate in public life;
  • participation in the development and implementation of promising socially significant youth initiatives;
  • informing students about the activities of the college.

The Chairman of the Youth Affairs Committee is Yulia Shevchenko, who was appointed by the order of the head of the Higher IT College of D. Serikbayev EKTU.

The Youth Affairs Committee carries out its activities in the following areas:

  • social policy and volunteer programs;
  • information and media;
  • innovative development and intellectual programs;
  • sports and wellness programs;
  • legal knowledge and anti-corruption culture;
  • creative and leisure programs and debate projects.

All interested college students can become a member of the Youth Affairs Committee.

29.09.2022 all college students took part in the voting for the position of chairman of the Youth Affairs Committee. Danil Musikhin won according to the results of the voting.
