The department graduates specialists in two specialties of the magistracy:

• 6M071800 - "Power engineering";
• 6M071700 - "Heat power engineering".

Graduates of the master's degree who have successfully completed their studies receive a master's degree in the corresponding specialty, which, along with activities directly in the field of energy and production, also engage in research, business and consulting activities.

The educational programs of the specialists of the specialties "Electric Power" and "Teploenergetika" were accredited by the Independent Kazakhstan Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IKAOAE) "and have a certificate of specialized accreditation SA№ 0016/3 dated June 12, 2014, with a deadline of 09.06.2019.

The agreement on joint training for masters in the specialty "Heat power engineering" with NSTU.
