Basic objectives of the projects:
- To develop leading geotectonic, geological-geophysical, geological-structural factors and criteria for forecasting and prospecting of rare metal deposits of different geological-genetic types including concealed and buried ones.
- To develop basic ore-petrological and mineralogical-geochemical factors and criteria for forecasting and prospecting of rare metal deposits of leading geological-production types.
- To develop scientific-methodological framework for forecasting and prospecting of concealed rare metal deposits for strengthening and development of raw material base of rare metal production.
- To assess prospective of the studied Kalba-Narym zone and its margins (in Irtysh zone and West Kalba), to identify new areas and sites, to develop perspective directions of further exploration work.
- To carry on a comparative analysis of common regularities of critical metals deposits formation and location and to identify perspective areas for exploration work within the studied ore regions of the USA (Colorado) and East Kazakhstan.
