Goal
- The main purpose of the discipline "shared network Roads" is to teach students the basics of road design.
Objective
- Need to know: - the main elements of the road, the basic principles of road design, the requirements for transport and road elements, the theory of interaction between the car and the road; Must be able to: - design the route plan, longitudinal and cross profiles of highways, perform practical work, course projects and works, the ability to use various kinds of instructions, as well as other normative literature in the design and operation of highways.
Learning outcome: knowledge and understanding
- Ability to apply basic and specialized knowledge in the field of technical Sciences in complex engineering activities on the basis of an integrated system of scientific knowledge about the world around us.
Learning outcome: applying knowledge and understanding
- The ability to master new equipment being introduced, check the technical condition and residual life of existing technological equipment and structures of construction and installation facilities, and, if necessary, provide repair and restoration work at the production sites of the enterprise.
Learning outcome: formation of judgments
- Ability to conduct technical and economic justification of design decisions, perform organizational and planning calculations for the creation or reorganization of production sites, plan the work of personnel and payroll funds, apply progressive methods of operation of technological equipment.
Learning outcome: communicative abilities
- Ability to work effectively individually and as a team member, demonstrating leadership skills of individual groups of performers, including on engineering projects, to be able to show personal responsibility, commitment to professional ethics and standards of conduct of professional activities.
Learning outcome: learning skills or learning abilities
- To carry out communications in the professional environment and in society as a whole, including in a foreign language; to analyze existing and develop technical documentation independently; to clearly state and protect the results of complex engineering activities and in branch scientific organizations.
Teaching methods
When conducting training sessions, it is planned to use the following educational technologies: - Traditional technologies are provided for teaching: classroom classes and independent work of students. The lecture course is presented in multimedia form. When presenting the lecture material at the beginning and at the end of the lecture, motivational speech is used. Text, audio and video information, graphs, tables, etc. are used in lectures, presentations and practical classes.
