In East Kazakhstan, for the third year in a row, in the context of the objectives of the "Rukhani Zhangyru" Program, the "Bilikti Maman" Project has been working successfully to expand the accessibility of higher education and increase the competitiveness of universities.

In 2019, 400 educational grants for popular specialties were allocated. Among them are technical specialties to a greater extent.

Also, on behalf of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Ref: No. 4-14-2 / 2249-I dated 28 June 2019), in 2019, in addition to 53,785 grants, there were allocated additional 5,000 grants for children from families of such citizen categories as families with many children and families receiving TSA, including the 180 grants to the East Kazakhstan region.

Every year, there are more opportunities to get a grant at the EKSTU.

Applicants who could not receive a republican grant can apply from August 5 to 10.
