Faculty of EKSTU took part in the webinar "Innovations in teaching and learning in Higher Education" organized in the frame of the project "Central Asia Education Platform" (CAEP).
The EU funded "Central Asia Education Platform" (CAEP), established in 2012, is enabling and facilitating a policy dialogue between the European Union and the Central Asia countries and within the Central Asia region in order to support education sector reforms in Vocational Education and Training (VET) and Higher Education (HE) in the region, enhance co-operation between the European Union and Central Asia, and to enhance regional co-operation between the countries of Central Asia.
In the framework of the EU Education Initiative for Central Asia, the second Meeting of Ministers for Education of the Central Asia countries and the European Union took place in Astana, Kazakhstan, in June 2017, resulting in the "Astana Declaration". At this meeting, "Innovative teaching methods in Higher Education and Vocational Education and Training" as well as "Efficient financing of education institutions" were identified as additional priorities to be addressed by the Central Asia Education Platform (CAEP) project.
The webinar provided an overview of teaching and learning innovation strategies adopted in the EU and internationally, and focused on Higher Education.
