On the day of the celebration of Nauryz D.Serikbayev EKSTU participated in the traditional contest of yurts "Nauryz-2015" holding at the Republic square. More than 20 large enterprises of the region, public organizations, universities and colleges took part in the event. Each yurt was topically formalized and devoted to the 550th anniversary of the Kazakh khanate, the 170th anniversary of Abai, the 20th anniversary of the Constitution and the Assembly of Kazakhstan People.

Special contest commission defined best yurts among participants of the contest. In the end the yurt of D.Serikbayev EKSTU took Grand Prix.
