Main scientific results

1. Basic models of mathematical modeling of emergency situations are studied.

2. Mathematical software has been developed for conducting effective computational experiments on modeling the dynamics of surface water on inhomogeneous complex terrain, taking into account the friction force of the liquid flow on the bottom.

3. A simulation model of the dynamics of catastrophic flooding of the city territory is constructed.

Direct result

As a result of the study, an information and analytical system for predicting flooding in the flood period was built on the basis of modern GIS technologies, taking into account the results of modeling the MIKE FLOOD software package.
