A study was conducted by changing the spraying distance. It is determined that the thickness of the metal-ceramic coating decreases with an increase in the spraying distance. It is established that the surface of the coatings has a developed character and has a high roughness. The results of X-ray phase analysis showed that the phase composition of the coatings consists of hexagonal WC as the main phase and a relatively small fraction of hexagonal tungsten carbide W2C as the secondary phase. It was found that the increased wear resistance and low coefficient of friction of WC-10Co-4Cr coatings is associated with a high volume fraction of solid and stable WC grains, which are highly resistant to wear. |
