Main scientific results

1. The improvement of the technological scheme for the extraction of scandium from titanium production waste is theoretically justified.

2. Studies were conducted to determine the effectiveness of the hydrochloric acid leaching of scandium from the spent melt of titanium chlorinators.

3. The development of an extraction technology for the extraction of rare-earth metal scandium using a new extractant is proposed.

Direct result

The extraction  of scandium from titanium production waste was tested in laboratory tests.
