Main scientific results

1. The choice and justification of the design will be made, the technical appearance and main technical characteristics of the pulsed plasma accelerator will be determined; drawing and technical documentation was developed, including assembly drawings, drawings of individual parts.

2. Drawing and technical documentation for the technological systems of the pulsed plasma accelerator will be developed, the composition of the equipment will be optimized, the locations of the equipment and technological systems will be prepared, and the installation of the main parts of the device will be carried out.

3. Preliminary studies will be carried out to identify the characteristics of the device; commissioning will be carried out. Technical proposals will be developed for adapting the pulsed plasma accelerator at the KTM tokamak.

4. Experimental studies will be carried out to determine the plasma configuration and measure the parameters of the molecular beam emitted by the pulsed plasma accelerator; the optimal characteristics were revealed and the operating modes outside the KTM tokamak were tested.

5. According to the technical design of the adaptation of the pulsed plasma accelerator on the KTM tokamak, installation and testing of the operating modes of the device will be carried out.

6. An analysis will be made of the efficiency of the operation of the pulsed plasma accelerator as part of the KTM tokamak as a system for feeding and quenching the plasma. Conclusions will be drawn and proposals for further research will be formulated.

Direct result

The result of the implementation of the research work will be experimental data obtained during the development of the operating modes of the pulsed plasma accelerator at the KTM tokamak, and an assessment of the effectiveness of using an improved method for changing the plasma density.
