Published a rating of educational programs of universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, conducted by NCE "Atameken". 29 educational programs of the EKTU are ranked in the rating. The top 3 best in the country included 12 (41.4%) educational programs, the top 5 best included 16 (55.2%) programs.

The top 10 places included 22 OP, which is 88%.

QS World University Rankings: Asia 2025

The QS Asia University Rankings 2025, which includes 984 Asian universities, determines the position of #288 D. Serikbayev EKTU throughout Asia, #17 in Central Asia, #13 among 35 Kazakhstani universities.

According to the Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IQAA), in the ranking of leading technical universities, D. Serikbayev EKTU took 1st place among regional and 3rd place among 17 technical universities in Kazakhstan.

The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings - 2024

According to the global rating on sustainable development THE Impact Rankings - 2024, D.Serikbayev EKTU entered the TOP 1001-1500 and took 1100 place among 1963 Universities in the world ranking, and among 26 Universities in Kazakhstan took 3rd place in the range.

QS Stars Rating

According to the results of the international audit, D. Serikbayev EKTU was awarded the 4  - star sign of excellence.

Validity of audit results: 08.11.2022 – 08.11.2025.

It should be noted that only 5 out of 132 universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan are marked with the sign of excellence QS Stars.

In 2016, D. Serikbayev EKTU was awarded the 3-star sign.

The improvement of the result confirms the high international status of VKTU, commitment to the principles of improving the quality of all areas of the university, the desire to influence society and the economy.

Global aggregate ranking - 2024

According to the results of the Global Aggregate Ranking 2024. D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University entered the TOP 10% of the best universities in the world, that is 2,500 universities out of 25,000 universities in the world.

The Global Aggregate Ranking is a classification of higher education institutions ranked by the 12 most authoritative global institutional rankings, including world rankings such as QS and THE, as well as by the indicators of the European database of accredited programs DEQAR.
