On the basis of Order No. 345 dated 08/27/2024, a Quality Assurance Commission was established at the School of Architecture, Construction and Energy.
The commission consists of:
- Bayzakova Gulmira Abylgazinovna – Chairman, Deputy Dean;
- Bukhatanova Zukhra Berdybekovna – Head of the Department of Organization and monitoring of the educational process;
- Kunapyanova Arai Asylkhanovna – Senior lecturer;
- Melkozerova Lyudmila Yanovna – Senior lecturer;
- Espolova Zukhra Ablkasymovna – Senior lecturer;
- Makulov Aslan Manasovich - Student of group 23-SSK-1;
- Aydoskyzy Nurayim - Studentt of group 21-SSK-1.
Purpose and objectives of the Quality Assurance Commission
The purpose of the Commission for Quality Assurance is to create a unified internal mechanism for regulating and consulting on educational-methodical and educational-organizational work on the implementation of the EP EKTU.
Tasks of the Commission:
- Updating the academic policy of EKTU.
- Coordination of the activities of the Academic Committees engaged in the design and improvement of EP of higher and postgraduate education.
- Conducting an examination of the content of the EP for compliance with the qualification requirements for personnel training imposed by the business community.
- Monitoring the modernization of educational programs of the university, improving the methodology of the principles of developing educational programs.
Functions of the Quality Assurance Commission
- gives approval for making the necessary changes to the EP and the design of new / innovative EP;
- evaluates and develops recommendations for improving the quality of EP in the relevant direction;
- coordinates and submits EP in areas of training for approval by the Academic Council of the University;
- interacts with employers and graduates of the EP to clarify the requirements for the competencies of the graduate and assess the quality of their training;
- considers issues of a current nature on educational, methodological and educational and organizational work on the recommendations of the Chairman of the Board - Rector, deans of schools / faculties, heads of departments, heads of EP;
- considers, analyzes and gives recommendations on the organization of the educational process in " D. Serikbayev EKTU";
- coordinates the transfer of student credits based on verified transcripts of other educational organizations (academic mobility, translation, restoration) and the development of academic credits in excess of credits approved by the EP in one academic period;
- makes a positive or negative decision on the recognition of the results obtained by students through non-formal education;
- agrees the number and list of disciplines for repeated training in an individual format for students with academic debts;
- decides on academic attestation for the implementation of an individual work plan for graduate / doctoral students;
- organizes a survey of students for the conformity of the quality of educational programs and (or) disciplines / module, for the borrowing of academic honesty;
- analyzes the results of intermediate attestation in comparison with the results of midterm control in the disciplines of the school, the results of intermediate attestation in accordance with the assessment table, reflecting the actual percentage distribution of absolute grades above the passing level for various groups of students, and also;
- controls the formation of a catalog of elective disciplines in order to ensure continuity and eliminate duplication of disciplines at different levels of education;
- coordinates the work on the examination and quality control of the content of the working curriculum (syllabus);
- considers conflict situations associated with internal and external disputes.
