The summer expedition campus "Prostor" is the research and training base of the EKTU for the implementation of a practice-oriented approach in the training of engineering personnel.

In 2019, the SEC "Prostor" was opened after modernization, almost rebuilt, and underwent a powerful design reboot.

The main role of the SEC "Prostor" is to consolidate practical competencies in the field in the relevant areas of the university. It allows you to conduct new courses in summer semesters, collect material for course, diploma, and master's projects. First of all, it is necessary for field work on educational programs: geology; geodesy and cartography; land management; cadastre; water resources and water supply; forest resources and forestry; life safety and environmental protection.

All conditions in the summer expedition campus are created both for gaining knowledge and for comfortable living: cozy houses with amenities, modern laboratories, stylish and thoughtful dining areas.

In addition to practical classes, a complex of leisure activities is organized at the campus, with maximum involvement of students. After all, all this will allow them to unleash their creative and intellectual potential, organize their active recreation and instill a culture of a healthy lifestyle.
