The purpose of the OP is to train undergraduates with competencies in the field of technological entrepreneurship who are able to generate new ideas, develop and implement commercial startups, attract investments, organize their own business and successfully work in innovative companies.

For further modernization of the economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, personnel with competencies in the field of engineering entrepreneurship are needed. Engineering entrepreneurship is an activity aimed at generating inventions and then successfully introducing them to the market. The main problems of the formation of entrepreneurial competencies among graduates of technical specialties are the lack of information about the possibility of doing their own business, ignorance of the algorithms for starting their own business. As a rule, an engineer does not know economics, management and marketing well enough.

However, high–tech business requires a combination of two talents - a developer scientist and a businessman. To implement this task, people with relevant competencies are needed, both in the field of engineering and in the field of entrepreneurship. Modern graduates should understand the principles of business development, be experts in the field of product development and production, know how to plan, design, manufacture and apply complex engineering systems.
