The purpose of educational work is to form students professional qualities in the chosen direction of training (specialty), civic and vital position, the ability to work and live in a modern civilization, as well as developing their independence, initiative and creative abilities.

Educational work is carried out systematically with the use of various forms of activities that correspond to the developing areas of educational and organizational and educational areas (curatorial hours, round tables, debates, celebratory evenings, discussions, meetings, competitions, "Department Days" in the dormitory № 3, etc.).



Educational work at the Faculty of Information Technology and Business is carried out in the following areas:

  • Patriotic education. Fostering in students a sense of patriotism, respect and love for their faculty, the university, the chosen profession. Formation of civic consciousness and national consciousness;
  • Legal education and prevention of offenses. Development of students' responsibility for the safety of interiors, equipment and inventory of the university and the dormitory, respect for the rule of law, inner freedom and personal dignity;
  • Moral and aesthetic education. Improving the culture and ethics of students' behavior. Active participation in the organization of leisure and recreation of students, development of their interests and abilities

Students of the school take an active part in the activities of the regional, city, university, school, interschool levels.

Every year students win prizes in such creative competitions and contests as:

  • "Freshman Talent" competition;
  • competitions "Miss EKSTU" and "Mister EKSTU";
  • review-competition "Student spring", city and regional festivals "Student spring";
  • - Republican festival "Men zhastarga senemin!".


Students and teachers of the Faculty of Information Technology and Business are constant participants and winners in competitions of the university in various sports (Rector's Cup, Spartakiada, "Ski Track").
