Educational work is carried out in the following areas:
- Implementation of the state program for the development of the state language;
- Physical improvement and health of the individual;
- Spiritual, moral and ethical education;
- Patriotic education, formation of historical consciousness of students;
- Legal education, legal consciousness, education of civil responsibility.
In order to implement the state program for the development of the state language, teachers and students of the School of Nuclear and Traditional Energy Technologies actively participate in events of various levels (Olympiads, contests, contests) for knowledge of the state language, attend the theater named after Zhambyl with watching performances in the state language, attend concert programs of Kazakhstani theater and pop artists who come to Ust-Kamenogorsk on tour. During the year, the school staff study the state language and pass the KAZTEST.
Physical improvement and personal health at the School of Nuclear and Traditional Energy Technologies is carried out through the participation of teachers and students in sports events organized by the university. Students of the school take prizes in sports contests, university games, attend sports sections.
During the year, the curators of groups for students of the school organize watching films about the dangers of drug addiction and tobacco smoking, meetings with doctors from the Center for a Healthy lifestyle, etc. Every year our school takes part in the action "Students of ЕKTU for a healthy lifestyle".
Spiritual, moral and aesthetic education at the school is carried out in order to instill in students a modern worldview, humanity, universal values. The main means of cultural and aesthetic education are the wide involvement of students in active amateur artistic activities, acquaintance with various types and genres of art.
Every year our students take part in actions and cultural events both at the university level and at the city level, such as "Knowledge Day", "Dedication to Students", "Freshman Talents", "Student Spring", "KVN Championship", "Miss ЕKTU", "Mr. ЕKTU", Nauryz-Duman, which contributes to the formation of a high level of moral culture of the individual, the education of citizenship and patriotism, the preservation and multiplication of the historical and cultural traditions of the university.
Patriotic education, the formation of historical consciousness of students of the school is aimed at educating students a sense of patriotism, respect and love for their university, their chosen profession, the formation of citizenship, national identity.
This direction of educational work at the school of nuclear and traditional energy technologies is focused on participation in public holidays, familiarization with state symbols, legislation, other acts and program documents aimed at the development of the Republic of Kazakhstan. For these purposes, it has become traditional to hold meetings with veterans of the Great Patriotic War, discuss the annual Messages of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, visit the drama theater. Dzhambula, visiting an ethnic village, etc.
Students of the School of Nuclear and Traditional Energy Technologies participate in public organizations: debate clubs, leadership schools, are representatives of the school in the Zhas-Otan party, where they realize their leadership qualities.
In autumn and spring, according to the approved schedule, students of the school take an active part in cleaning the assigned territory.
Every year on the Constitution Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Unity Day of the Peoples of Kazakhstan, teachers and students of the faculty take part in a youth march, under the motto "I am a patriot of Kazakhstan!".
Curators constantly monitor academic performance, attendance in groups, social living conditions of students living in dormitories and rented housing. According to the approved action plan, "School Days" are organized and held in dormitories No. 1 and No. 2.
