The department of science is an internal structural subdivision of the Department of Research and Innovative Activity of the East Kazakhstan State Technical University. D. Serikbayev.
Department of science:
- Organizes and coordinates the work in the development of proposals and projects on the priority areas for the development of science and technology, the main provisions of the regional innovative scientific and technical policy for the University, East Kazakhstan and the country as a whole;
- Develops short-term, medium-term and long-term scientific projects and participates in the development and implementation of state policy in the field of scientific, scientific and technical activities of the University;
- Carries out the management the research activities of the Professor and Teaching staff of the University and student science;
- Promotes the effective use of scientific results and the development of the scientific and technical potential of the University;
- Contributes to the formation of conditions for increasing the volume of financing under state budget and contractual projects, the number of professors and teachers involved in scientific activities;
- Coordinates the activities of units engaged in scientific work;
- Participates in the work of the Scientific and Technical Council and commissions on issues related to the support and development of scientific, scientific and technical activities;
- Participates in the competitive selection of scientific and technical and innovative projects for financing from the republican budget, organizes the passage of scientific expertise;
- Provides organizational and technical support for the work of the Scientific Research Council;
- Conducts seminars, conferences, meetings, round tables on matters according to the plan within the competence of the Department;
- Organizes work to promote scientific and technological achievements;
- In accordance with the established procedure from subjects of scientific activity receives the materials necessary for work, and also performs other functions in the field of science and scientific and technical policy;
- And other functions in accordance with the tasks entrusted to the Department.
