The Atmosphere Research Laboratory was established in 1991. The laboratory is engaged in environmental design and rationing for enterprises on the basis of a state license.
In parallel the laboratory provides scientific and practical services to large enterprises for the inspection of dust and gas collection systems with recommendations for improving their work.
Over the past 5 years, projects have been implemented on the basis of the SRL"Atmosphere":
- Analysis of the efficiency of the gas purification equipment of the UK MC LLP "Kazzinc" with an assessment of compliance with design data and scientific and technical level with conclusions about their further operation - 2016-2017.
- Inspection of dust and gas collecting installations of smelting workshops №№ 1 and 6 of the Aksu Ferroalloy Plant with the issuance of conclusions and recommendations to improve the efficiency of dust collection with the development of a regime map - 2017.
- Development of projects and programs for automated monitoring of atmospheric air pollution in the zone of influence of «Kazzinc» LLP complexes in the cities of Ridder and Zyryanovsk - 2018.
- Execution of a set of works within the framework of the implementation of the "Cooperation Program of «Kazzinc» LLP and D. Serikbayev EKSTU in the field of improving the sanitary condition of the atmospheric air of Ust-Kamenogorsk for 2018-2020".
- Drawing up a Concept for the development of the site №. 2 "Classical scheme" of the sulfuric acid plant of the UK MC LLP "Kazzinc" to determine the possibility of prospects for improvement and development with conclusions about further operation – 2021.
- Grant of the MES of the RK №. AР08053440 "Study of large sources of emissions of harmful substances into the atmospheric air of Ust-Kamenogorsk with identification of the causes of increased hydrogen sulfide content" - 2020-2022.
The laboratory has a state license for environmental design and rationing.
