The aim of the educational program

Training of a highly qualified specialist able to demonstrate functional literacy and competitiveness in professional situations, successfully combining knowledge, skills and abilities in carrying out various topographical and geodetic and cartographic works, using modern geodetic equipment and means of automated processing of geodetic, land surveying and cadastral information.

- организация и ведение геодезических, топографических съёмок, корректировок планово-картографического материала, отвод земельных участков;
- составление цифровых топографических и тематических планов и карт, цифровых моделей местности и рельефа;
- управление и организация проведения геодезических, аэрофотосъемочных, изыскательских, обследовательских и картографических работ;
- ведение геоинформационных баз данных.

5. Ability to carry out scientific research and engineering surveys, mathematical processing of measurement results and their interpretation required in professional activities and in the study of natural resources. Have knowledge of the geological structure of the Earth, meteorology, climatology and hydrology, design, construction and operation of engineering structures.
Be able to perform mathematical and statistical processing of data, assess the accuracy of geodetic measurements using IT-technology
6. Ability to perform geodetic works on creation, development and reconstruction of reference geodetic, levelling, gravimetric and special purpose networks by various methods. Be able to collect and analyse topographic-geodetic information about the construction territory of the object and preparation of the project of geodetic works production; perform and control the quality of engineering-geodetic works at the construction site.
Analyze information, make reasoned judgments, and draw valid conclusions about the methods of making various geodetic measurements and the conditions of their application
7. Ability to carry out basic technological processes of obtaining ground and aerospace spatial information on the state of the environment, use remote sensing materials and GIS technologies in modelling and interpreting the results of studying natural resources and objects. Knowledge of modern geographic and land information systems, ability to program specific information in geographic information systems, and to develop and apply software for visualising geodata and creating web maps and maintaining geoportals.
Photogrammetric processing of aerospace and ground surveys to create various types of spatial data. To be able to perform a set of aerial photography works, processing of remote sensing data and aerial survey materials to create and update plans, maps, electronic models. Perform aerial photography of area and linear objects using unmanned aerial vehicles of copter and aeroplane types. Monitor natural resources and objects using photogrammetric methods.
8. Ability to perform astronomical determinations, topographic-geodetic, aerial surveying, photogrammetric, gravimetric works to ensure territory mapping. Be able to carry out geodetic surveys in solving various engineering and geodetic tasks arising in the construction and operation of facilities, structures, communication routes, trunk pipelines, as well as exploration and mining of minerals, geophysical surveys and exploration, as well as the performance of work on terrestrial laser scanning and processing of its results. Perform control over the condition of geodetic instruments and tools. Control and monitor the movement of engineering structures and the earth surface.
9. Ability to carry out a set of geodetic works performed during surveys, design and construction of engineering structures at industrial and construction sites. To be able to apply modern methods and methods of geodetic works in geodetic and surveying support of economic objects using modern technologies and software
