The field of professional activity of graduates who have mastered the bachelor's degree program includes research, design, construction and operation of technical means for the production of heat, its application, control of its flows and conversion of other types of energy into heat.

- formulates the goals of the project (program) for solving the tasks, criteria and indicators for achieving goals, building a structure of their interrelations, identifying priorities for solving tasks;
- develops options for solving the problem, analyzing options, predicting consequences, finding compromise solutions in conditions of multi-criteria, uncertainty, planning the implementation of a product project or technological process;
- in the organization of efficient use of energy resources in power complexes of industrial enterprises and heat technology; - in the reconstruction, modernization and testing of heat technology equipment;
- in setting the parameters of the optimal operating mode of equipment; the introduction of energy-saving technologies, systems for the use of secondary energy resources, non-traditional energy sources and energy technology combination;
- in the automation of heat technology installations and systems;
- in the selection of methods, devices and drawing up schemes for measuring the main
performance characteristics of thermal technology equipment; development of technical documentation;
- in setting the parameters of the optimal mode of operation of the equipment;

- in the selection and application of methods for determining technological indicators of water and fuel quality;

5. Ability and willingness to participate in the development of modern theoretical and experimental research methods, to know modern and promising areas of development of thermal power engineering.
