Studies the concept of climate and its changes, the consequences of climate change. Considers issues of sustainable development, the main provisions of the concept on the transition of the Republic of Kazakhstan to a "green" economy. Analyzes international agreements on combating climate change, Kazakhstan's obligations under international agreements in the field of climate change.

  • formation of students ' understanding of the close relationship between human economic activity and climate change, the need to implement a "green" economy; development of decision-making skills in ensuring sustainable development and qualitative economic growth at the micro and macro levels

  • - mastering theoretical knowledge about the climate, its changes as a result of economic activity on a global and national scale, the impact of climate on natural and economic systems; - formation of students ' understanding of the "green" economy on the basis of the main tool in the fight against climate change and sustainable development on a global and national scale; - Formation and raising awareness of students ' practical potential in the field of adaptation to climate change in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the world; - formation of skills to analyze the state of the environment in connection with climate change, taking into account the requirements of the "green" economy; - obtaining information about greenhouse gases, mechanisms for reducing their emissions in climate change, their implementation in Kazakhstan, the system of regulation; - possess practical skills in the analysis and evaluation of the trading system; develop national programs and plans for the regulation of PG emissions;
