Description: Sociology considers society as whole system of functioning of social generalities, studies attitudes existing between these generalities, as well as investigates and behaviour of people in the society explains. Sociology studies social norms, values, roles, statuses, preferences, public opinion and many other phenomena - all that we name “social life”.

Goal
- To form the initial systematic idea of sociology as a science, the development of sociological theory, methods and practical use of sociological research, the main branch sociological theories and their application.
Objective
- To create an idea about dynamics of social changes in the world on the basis of macro- and microsociological approaches. - Development of applied methods and organization of sociological research. - To Form the ability to work effectively in a modern organization. - Introduction to basic sociological concepts, concepts, theories. - Training of sociological thinking, the ability to practically use the learned knowledge.

Teaching methods
The following educational technologies are used during the training sessions: - interactive lecture (application of the following active forms of training: Guided (guided) discussion or conversation; moderation; demonstration of slides or training films; brainstorming; motivational speech); - creation of scenarios for the development of different situations based on the given conditions; - information and communication (e.g. computer class classes using professional application packages); - research (independant research activities of students during training); - solving educational tasks.
Assessment of the student's knowledge
Teacher oversees various tasks related to ongoing assessment and determines students' current performance twice during each academic period. Ratings 1 and 2 are formulated based on the outcomes of this ongoing assessment. The student's learning achievements are assessed using a 100-point scale, and the final grades P1 and P2 are calculated as the average of their ongoing performance evaluations. The teacher evaluates the student's work throughout the academic period in alignment with the assignment submission schedule for the discipline. The assessment system may incorporate a mix of written and oral, group and individual formats.

The student's final grade in the course is calculated on a 100 point grading scale, it includes:
- 40% of the examination result;
- 60% of current control result.
The final grade is calculated by the formula:
