Description: This discipline is necessary in order to develop legal knowledge focused on the specifics of transport and create conditions under which professional knowledge, in close connection with knowledge of transport law, will express a high degree of professionalism, increase labor productivity and strengthen law and order in transport, increasing its attractiveness and guaranteeing safety.

Goal
- The main goal is to provide students with legal knowledge regarding the specific features of the organization and implementation of transport activities, sources of transport law, regulation of motor transport relations by legislation, legal aspects of liability for their violation.
Objective
- The study of the regulatory framework; the study of the specifics of the application of new legislation with consideration and analysis of all innovations; the development of new approaches to improvement, including the norms of criminal law protection; the development of skills in the preparation of procedural documents; research of foreign legislation and practice of its application.
Learning outcome: knowledge and understanding
- Students' knowledge and understanding of the meaning of normative legal acts and the ability to apply the norms of law to specific life situations.

- The ability to use regulatory legal documents in their activities and acquire the skills to resolve specific disputes on the use and protection of the rights of subjects of relations in the transport industry.

Teaching methods
When conducting training sessions, it is planned to use the following educational technologies: - Classes are held in active and creative forms that contribute to the involvement of students in the search and management of knowledge, the acquisition of experience in solving problems independently, including: - technologies of educational and research activities; - communication technologies (discussion, educational debates); - information and communication (including distance education) technologies.
Assessment of the student's knowledge
Teacher oversees various tasks related to ongoing assessment and determines students' current performance twice during each academic period. Ratings 1 and 2 are formulated based on the outcomes of this ongoing assessment. The student's learning achievements are assessed using a 100-point scale, and the final grades P1 and P2 are calculated as the average of their ongoing performance evaluations. The teacher evaluates the student's work throughout the academic period in alignment with the assignment submission schedule for the discipline. The assessment system may incorporate a mix of written and oral, group and individual formats.

The student's final grade in the course is calculated on a 100 point grading scale, it includes:
- 40% of the examination result;
- 60% of current control result.
