Adam Bol
Description: The course examines the moral and ethical concepts of Abai Qunanbaiuly, as well as the socio-political, cultural, and scientific factors from the early medieval period to the 19th century that influenced the formation of the philosopher's moral and ethical views. The course considers the evolution of moral and ethical teachings, the relevance of Abai's philosophical and poetic heritage, and the necessity of forming modern culture based on the teachings of the great thinker on justice, humanism, and moral reliability of the individual.

Goal
- The purpose of the Adam Bol course is to form comprehensive knowledge among students about the moral concept of Abai Kunanbayev "Adam Bol".
Objective
- systematization of knowledge about the events of the Abai era and the formation of his worldview; development of research abilities and formation of intellectual and creative potential among students on the basis of the study of Abai's heritage; creation of an ideological and spiritual basis for consolidation of Kazakhstan's society through the work of Abai "words of edification"; disclosure of the principles that determine the special and important place and role of Abai in the context of world and domestic history; education of the moral position of the individual in relation to topical issues of the Abai era and modern global society.

Teaching methods

Assessment of the student's knowledge
Teacher oversees various tasks related to ongoing assessment and determines students' current performance twice during each academic period. Ratings 1 and 2 are formulated based on the outcomes of this ongoing assessment. The student's learning achievements are assessed using a 100-point scale, and the final grades P1 and P2 are calculated as the average of their ongoing performance evaluations. The teacher evaluates the student's work throughout the academic period in alignment with the assignment submission schedule for the discipline. The assessment system may incorporate a mix of written and oral, group and individual formats.

Evaluation form
The student's final grade in the course is calculated on a 100 point grading scale, it includes:
- 40% of the examination result;
- 60% of current control result.
The final grade is calculated by the formula:
