Renewable energy power and drive technology
Description: The discipline presents the principles of electric energy conversion: rectification, inversion and frequency conversion. The main circuits of converter devices are described. The features of the functioning of power converters are considered. Electromagnetic processes characterizing the operation of power converters are analyzed. The principles of constructing control systems for various power converter devices in RES devices are considered, and issues of the principles of constructing DC and AC electric drives, the formation of skills in performing static and dynamic calculations of the power part of an electric drive in RES systems are studied.
