Goal
  • To form students' competencies in the field of theoretical, legislative and applied metrology.
Objective
  • 1. To introduce students to the history and tasks of metrology 2. To acquaint students with the basic concepts of metrology, classification and characteristics of measuring instruments and methods. 3. To acquaint students with methods for determining inaccuracies and repeatability of measurement results. 4. Introduce students to the basics of A / C and C / A processing. 5. To introduce students to the basics of legal metrology.
Learning outcome: knowledge and understanding
  • - the student knows the history, definitions of basic terms and metrological tasks; - the student has knowledge of the classification and properties of instruments and measurement methods;
Learning outcome: applying knowledge and understanding
  • - The student owns the basics of legal metrology. - the student can process the information received, perform its analysis and generalization.
Learning outcome: formation of judgments
  • - the student can draw conclusions, formulate and justify the opinion.
Learning outcome: communicative abilities
  • - the student can clearly state and defend the results of integrated engineering activities in the field of metrology.
Learning outcome: learning skills or learning abilities
  • - the student understands the need and knows the possibilities of lifelong learning; - the student can independently apply the methods and means of cognition, training and self-control, realize the prospects of intellectual, cultural, moral, physical and professional self-development and self-improvement.
Teaching methods

When conducting training, the use of the following educational technologies is provided: - interactive lecture (application of the following active forms of training: guided (guided) discussion or conversation; moderation; slide show or training films; brainstorming; motivational speech); - building scenarios for the development of various situations based on given conditions; - information and communication (for example, classes in a computer class using professional application software packages); - search and research (independent research activities of students in the learning process); - solving educational problems.
