Description: It contains in-depth theoretical material on the application of metal and ceramic coatings used in metallurgy to protect equipment and parts from aggressive environments and high temperatures. In addition, the theoretical foundations of the interaction of the coating and the substrate in order to obtain a dense and adhesive-resistant coating, mechanism and kinetics of physical and chemical processes leading to the required level of adhesion and cohesion are studied.
