Fuel cells
Description: This course introduces fuel cell technology and a comparative understating and analysis of various types of fuel cells. Applications of these fuel cells are also discussed as well as the technical and economic challenges associated with this technology. This course will cover various types of fuel cells including Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) fuel cells, Direct Methanol fuel cells (DMFC), Solid Oxide fuel cells (SOFC), Alkaline fuel cells (AFC), Phosphoric Acid fuel cells (PAFC) and Molten Carbonate fuel cells (MCFC).
