Goal
- The aim is to provide students with an in-depth knowledge of different energy resources, their classification and methods of utilisation, as well as an understanding of the role of these resources in the modern world and their impact on sustainable development
Objective
- Familiarise themselves with different types of energy resources, including renewable (solar, wind, hydro) and non-renewable (coal, oil, natural gas), and their characteristics and advantages
Learning outcome: knowledge and understanding
- Understand the different types of energy resources, including renewable and non-renewable sources, their characteristics and applications
Learning outcome: applying knowledge and understanding
- Apply the main technologies used to convert energy resources into electricity and heat and their operating principles
Learning outcome: formation of judgments
- Evaluate and compare different energy resources in terms of their efficiency, sustainability and environmental impact
Learning outcome: communicative abilities
- present their ideas and conclusions on energy resources and technology issues
Learning outcome: learning skills or learning abilities
- be able to assess the economic aspects of energy resource utilisation, including the costs of energy production and distribution
