Description: The course is designed to deepen the knowledge of students in the field of development prospects and the existing world and domestic experience in the development of energy sources that are alternative to traditional ones used in the energy sector, and includes such issues as: studying the possibilities of effective use of renewable energy sources in energy supply systems of various objects ; systems for converting solar radiation into electrical and thermal energy, using wind energy, sea currents and a thermal temperature gradient to produce electrical energy; possibilities of using biomass and municipal solid waste for the production of electrical and thermal energy, etc.
