Environmental geology
Description: The basic concepts, objects, methodology of ecological geology are given in the course of this discipline. This course gives an idea of the Earth as a “natural cosmic body”, about the processes taking place on its surface and in depth. A general idea of the influence of geological processes on human activity and life is given. The problems of the survival of humanity in the context of a shortage of natural resources, its readiness for accounting and the elimination of the consequences of dangerous geological processes are considered.
