Description: The discipline forms a general understanding of engineering and engineering education. The object and subject of engineering are studied. The discipline reveals the purpose and objectives of engineering education, competencies, knowledge, abilities and skills of the future specialist acquired in the learning process. In the course of studying the discipline, students become familiar with the structure and stages of the educational process, types and forms of classes, practices, and the organization of intermediate and final control. The discipline reveals the importance of research work, additional education, and obtaining working professions.

Objective
  • The study of the concepts of engineering and engineering education, the object and subject of engineering. Familiarization with the purpose and objectives of engineering education. Understanding the competencies, knowledge, skills and abilities acquired in the learning process. Familiarization with the structure and stages of the educational process, types and forms of classes, practices, intermediate and final control. Familiarization with the student's research work. Intellectual property and patenting of R&D results. Additional education, obtaining working professions in accordance with the direction of engineering training. Familiarization with the internal regulations and regulatory documents regarding the educational process
