Development of machine designs taking into account the requirements of safety, ergonomics, efficiency and economy. Application of mathematical and computer methods to calculate and optimize machine parameters, including forces, moments and stresses. Selection and justification of the use of materials, their properties and processing methods to ensure the durability and reliability of machines. Study of standards and regulations governing the design and production of road construction machines.
