Geophysical methods in seismology

Aitbaeva Saltanat Sabidollaevna

The instructor profile

Description: The course covers the use of geophysical research methods for analyzing and processing seismic activity data. Students study methods for collecting, storing, processing, and visualizing seismological data, as well as ways to model seismic risks and assess the impact of earthquakes on technosphere safety. The main focus is on: seismic tomography, the analysis of seismic data, the study of geophysical instruments, the use of seismological data for the design of buildings and structures, as well as for assessing the resistance of territories to earthquakes. Independently determine the tasks of professional development. Organize and conduct seismological observations.
