Seismic Zoning

Aitbaeva Saltanat Sabidollaevna

The instructor profile

Description: The course is designed to train specialists who are capable of applying seismic zoning methods. Students will gain both the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required for mapping seismic hazards in seismically active regions, which vary in their geostructural and tectonic characteristics. The course focuses on identifying potential earthquake source zones and analyzing the seismic effects produced on the Earth’s surface. Furthermore, it explores the application of information and communication technologies (ICT) in professional practice, along with various methods and models used in seismic zoning.
