Goal
  • Training of specialists in the field of knowledge on the design of technological equipment for the manufacture of parts, assembly and testing of machines
Objective
  • As a result of studying the discipline, a specialist should: - Know the principle of design, calculation and construction of devices and equipment. - Be able to design, create and implement technological equipment.
Learning outcome: knowledge and understanding
  • Students should know: - about the current state of the machine-building industry and the types of devices for metal-cutting machines; - about the types of clamping and processing devices for modern machine tools and development prospects.
Learning outcome: applying knowledge and understanding
  • Be able to: - implement the type of device; - calculate the clamping forces, mechanization and automation of devices; - calculate the accuracy of the installation and power mechanisms; - to find the zero position of the program when setting up the CNC machine; - to solve the dimensional circuits of the SPEED system; - to check the geometric and kinematic accuracy of the device.

  • Possess: - methods for calculating the accuracy of installation, power mechanisms, clamping forces, mechanization and automation of devices

  • The questions considered in the course on the basics of engineering design and construction of elements and individual parts of machine tools are fundamental in the system of special training of a mechanical engineer working in the field of mechanical engineering and metalworking.

  • The study of the course contributes to the successful solution of problems in the design and calculation of machine tools in the course and diploma design.
