Description: The volume and content of the teaching and language material is differentiated in accordance with the learning objectives and is aimed at practice-oriented training in educational programs, practical mastery of various types of speech activity within the framework of the future specialty. Final assessment method | Written exam. It consists of 3 blocks: the 1st block is a mini-test (10 min); the 2nd block is to define terms (35 min) and the 3rd block is practical work with text (55 min). Exam duration is 1 hour 40 minutes. The examination material consists of 40% theoretical material and 60% practical material The student passed the module if the final score is above 50%. |

Goal
- Russian Russian is a practice-oriented provision of high–quality assimilation of the Russian language as a means of social, intercultural, professional communication through the formation of communicative competencies at all levels of language use for students of Russian as a foreign language - level C1.
Objective
- To contribute to the improvement and deepening of the level of knowledge and skills of students of the basic norms of the Russian language for use in professional activities.
- To form and improve terminological skills and abilities of students on the basis of specially selected professionally-oriented texts, to form skills of comparative analysis of terms in Russian and native languages of students.
- To form the skills and abilities of using scientific literature in the specialty in order to obtain information that contributes to the formation of professional competence.
- To teach how to extract the necessary information from the text of the specialty, describe it, generalize and interpret it in order to use it in the process of educational and professional communication.
- To form the skills of compiling documentation necessary for professional activity, in compliance with the norms of the Russian literary language.
Learning outcome: knowledge and understanding
- Correctly choose and use linguistic and speech-learning tools based on a full understanding of vocabulary, grammatical system of knowledge and pragmatic content of intentions; convey the exact content of the text, be able to formulate conclusions, characterize the final part of the entire text and its individual structural parts; identify textual information, explain stylistic and genre features of social, socio-cultural, social-political, educational and professional texts.
Learning outcome: applying knowledge and understanding
- Be able to request and communicate information in accordance with the communication situation, evaluate the actions of participants in speech communication, use information to influence a familiar or unfamiliar interlocutor; in accordance with the peculiarities of linguistic and cultural communication, show personal, social and professional.
Learning outcome: formation of judgments
- Discuss ethical, culturological and socially significant problems at discussions, be able to express their point of view, justify it, critically evaluate the opinion of participants; realize personal needs (everyday, educational, social, cultural, professional), be able to participate in various communication situations in order to express ethically correct, from a meaningful point of view, complete, on the proper lexico-grammatical and pragmatic level of their position.
Learning outcome: communicative abilities
- To perceive the basic semantic information (at the level of general, detailed and critical understanding), as well as communicative intentions, including the implicit intentions of the speakers, significant for the further nature of the ongoing monologue and dialogue. Speech aspects of business communication: establishing business contacts and conducting negotiations. Features of telephone communication: telephone etiquette, features of communication using mobile communication. Features of communication by e-mail.
Learning outcome: learning skills or learning abilities
- To present and adequately interpret the texts of educational and scientific communication. Create educational and scientific communication: written and oral scientific presentation. To prove ways of presenting information in an educational and scientific text. Defend speech strategies in educational and scientific discussion. Possess the skills of the basics of conducting scientific and professional-business rhetoric.

Assessment of the student's knowledge
Teacher oversees various tasks related to ongoing assessment and determines students' current performance twice during each academic period. Ratings 1 and 2 are formulated based on the outcomes of this ongoing assessment. The student's learning achievements are assessed using a 100-point scale, and the final grades P1 and P2 are calculated as the average of their ongoing performance evaluations. The teacher evaluates the student's work throughout the academic period in alignment with the assignment submission schedule for the discipline. The assessment system may incorporate a mix of written and oral, group and individual formats.

The student's final grade in the course is calculated on a 100 point grading scale, it includes:
- 40% of the examination result;
- 60% of current control result.
