Innovative materials and alloys in the construction of mining machines
Description: The discipline studies the properties, advantages, technologies for the production and processing of innovative materials such as high-strength steels, composite materials, heat-resistant and corrosion-resistant alloys. The purpose of the discipline is to develop students' competencies in the selection and justification of the use of materials, taking into account the operating conditions, reliability and resource of equipment. During the study, professional competencies are formed in the field of materials science analysis, selection of structural materials and assessment of their impact on the technical and operational characteristics of mining machines. As a result of mastering the discipline, the student is able to apply modern materials in design solutions, take into account their properties when calculating and selecting machine components, as well as use regulatory and technical documentation.
