Description: The discipline allows you to master basic knowledge in the field of organizing the work of all types of transport in the context of cargo and commercial activities, the specific features of the organization of the main modes of transport, the methodology for determining the performance indicators of various types of transport, optimizing the processes of cargo transport to improve the efficiency of its functioning.

Goal

• Study of transport and transportation documentation: general rules for registration of various transportation documents: bill of lading, waybill; tariffs for cargo transportation and other services performed by road, freight forwarding contracts, cargo transportation contracts; technology of cargo and commercial work at points of departure, destination, and en route, which will allow in the future, it can be used in professional activities to improve the efficiency of the transport process.

Objective

• Formation of knowledge about goods, their characteristics, classification and international standardization. Study of the rules of acceptance of goods for transportation, loading, unloading, delivery, forwarding of goods; basic regulatory and technical documents for the registration of cargo transportation, transport and travel documentation; basic documents for the conclusion of nodal agreements and contracts for the carriage of goods by road, rules for filling out acts of various forms.

• After completing the course, the student must know the rules of registration, the procedure for filling out contracts and accompanying documentation (waybill, waybills), know the international classification of goods (cargo).

• Filling, calculation and processing of waybills and shipping documents, commercial acts and other transport documentation; drafting, execution and conclusion of contracts for the carriage of goods, rental of rolling stock and provision of various freight forwarding services by motor transport enterprises; implementation of competent and reasonable choice of rolling stock of motor transport, respectively, transported goods and conditions of transportation; implementation of competent and reasonable organization of work when performing a complex of forwarding tasks at transport enterprises.

• Formation of a full range of knowledge on the organization of cargo and commercial work on all types of transport, with the ability to determine the main results of transport work, knowledge of ways to calculate tariffs for transportation and related operations necessary for the future profession. Formation of a specialist capable of finding organizational and managerial solutions in production situations of transportation enterprises.

• As a result of studying the discipline, the student must combine deep professional training with the ability to apply and implement fundamentally new scientific, industrial and organizational solutions for the organization of cargo and commercial activities at the modern level.
