Transportation Organization

Description: The discipline provides for the study of the theoretical foundations and methods of organizing the delivery of goods and passengers. The issues of analysis of the main indicators of the rolling stock of freight and passenger transport, routes, classification of vehicles, organization and safety of traffic are considered. Attention is also paid to the assessment of the main parameters of the existing infrastructure of transport systems for the delivery of goods and passengers.

Goal

• The purpose of teaching this discipline is to study the theoretical foundations and methods of organizing the delivery of goods and passengers by road, traffic management, familiarization with the parameters characterizing the movement of vehicles and pedestrians on streets and roads, and the acquisition of practical skills in planning and managing the transport process.

Objective

• To know the basic theoretical provisions on the organization of the process of cargo and passenger delivery; to be able to use theoretical knowledge to create conditions conducive to improving the efficiency of the transportation process; to acquire practical skills in solving engineering problems in the field of transportation and traffic management.

• Have a clear understanding of the specifics of the organization of transportation; traffic management. efficient use of vehicles in organizing the process of cargo and passenger delivery.
