Passenger Traffic

Description: The discipline provides for the development of theoretical and practical foundations for organizing and managing the movement of passengers in road transport, types of routes in conjunction with the planning structure of the city, methods for optimizing the transportation process for all types of communications; methods of conducting and the results of a survey of passenger flows, as an important element in improving the quality of transportation of the population.

Goal

• The study of the main theoretical, practical and methodological provisions of the organization and management of passenger road transport, ensuring full satisfaction of demand in the movement of the population

Objective

• Formation of ideas about the principles of functioning of the passenger transport service system and its subsystem; mastering the main methods and ways of organizing the passenger motor transport process; study of technical and operational indicators of the use of vehicles; obtaining skills in solving practical problems of organizing transport services, developing technological solutions for ensuring passenger transportation processes
