Goal
- Study of trends in the development of technologies of various types of BS; the main parameters of BS channels; on the laws that determine the relationship between the quality indicators of channels of different types of BS; technical concepts for building different BS systems; distinctive features of different types of BS and their advantages and disadvantages; ways to organize channels, access to BS and their application; methods for calculating the energy parameters of BS systems .
Objective
- To study the purpose, theoretical foundations, and essence of physical phenomena underlying the construction and operation of wireless networks. Give an idea about the trends in the development of BS; about the laws that determine the relationship between the quality of channels and methods for determining these parameters; energy parameters of the system; indicators of effective use of frequency bands and power; economic indicators of the BS system .
Learning outcome: knowledge and understanding
- the trainee must have theoretical knowledge in the field of modern wireless communication technology and rules for organizing (designing and planning) wireless networks based on equipment from various world manufacturers. To be able to calculate and choose the basic energy parameters of the equipment; the radius of the cell, receiver sensitivity, etc., proceeding from existing norms on quality of the channel and real parameters of the route database (for example, mobile cellular); develop a frequency-territorial plan for a given DB system standards for a given area (for example, mobile cellular communications); optimize the DB network architecture based on complex performance criteria.
Learning outcome: applying knowledge and understanding
- Know the principles of operation, technical characteristics and design features of radio-electronic devices being developed and used, switching and wireless communication means.
Learning outcome: formation of judgments
- The future specialist should be able to choose a communication system based on the analysis of the proposed systems, according to the effectiveness of its application, according to the technical task for its use.
Learning outcome: communicative abilities
- Conduct modeling, theoretical and experimental research of wireless communication standards using modern methods of analysis and synthesis.
Learning outcome: learning skills or learning abilities
- The acquired theoretical knowledge in the field of modern wireless communication technology and techniques for organizing wireless networks will increase the student's ability to more meaningful study of the entire range of disciplines of the professional training cycle.
