In 1964 graduated from Ust-Kamenogorsk Building-Road Institute on specialty "Industrial and Civil Building" with qualification "Engineer-Draughtsman".

In 1968 I entered, and in 1970 finished full-time postgraduate study of the Leningrad Construction Engineering Institute and defended my candidate's thesis.

Since 1970 I am a candidate of technical sciences after defending my dissertation "Investigation of Elastic Stability of Hollow Shells of Corrugated Profile in Transverse Bending" with the specialization "Strength of Materials and Structural Mechanics".

Total work experience is 56 years, including 53.5 years at the university (UK SDI, VKTU, VKGTU).

Prepared two candidates of technical sciences on specialty "Dynamics, strength of machines, devices and equipment" and one PhD. The list of his printed works contains more than 200 titles, including 11 certificates of authorship (patents) for inventions, a monograph and 2 textbooks without co-authors.

During 14.5 years of scientific and pedagogical activity at the University held the post of Head of the Department "Construction Mechanics" UK SDI, as well as 10 times increased his qualification in universities of Moscow, Leningrad and in enterprises of Germany (2008 and 2015).

For many years he worked in the competitive commission of the university for awarding academic titles of professor and associate professor of EKSTU.

During his scientific and pedagogical activity in the university I read 6 fundamental and applied academic disciplines of mechanics and mathematics: "Strength of Materials", "Theoretical and Applied Mechanics" (Bachelor's degree); "Methods of Mathematical Analysis in the optimization problems of strength of materials for machine parts", "Dynamics and Strength of Technological Machines" (Master's degree); "Elasticity Theory for machine parts", "Methods of Mathematical Analysis in the optimization problems of systems of resistance to materials" (Doctoral degree).

He was twice represented on the Institute's Honours Board (1983 and 1988) and was entered in the UK SRI Book of Honours.

More than 20 years he held the post of professor. "January 30", 2002 received a certificate of Academic title of University Professor of the specialty 01.02.04 - "Mechanics of deformable solids.

Among his main awards are 14 awards of the city, regional, republican (RK) and Union (USSR) levels as well as the medal "Veteran of Labor".

In 2008 and 2015 I did an internship in industrial enterprises of the Federal Republic of Germany and received two certificates (Rostock, Germany, on August 24, 2008; Butzbach, Germany, on July 30, 2015).

The main professional and technical interests are directly related to two innovative research areas.

1) Mathematical modeling and solving some actual problems of deformable solid mechanics with the application of the obtained results to the assessment of the stress-strain state, strength and stiffness of elastic elements of mechanisms, devices and equipment from the point of view of optimal design of structures.

2) Improvement and development of new refined methods and algorithms for calculation of elastomeric (rubber) ring seals for conditions of adjustable mounting tension, widely used in hydraulic, pneumatic and vacuum systems of modern machines.
