On the 11th -12th of April 2017 in Almaty there was held the III Republican festival " Tiregi sender elimnin" under the auspices of the Council of young scientists Fund of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In sports and intellectual competition was attended by 9 student teams from 6 cities of Kazakhstan. The qualifying round consisted of 28 universities of Kazakhstan.

The competition consisted of several stages. They were sports, test of theoretical knowledge, presentation videos, public speaking contest and the presentation of innovative projects.

Information Technology and Business Department of D.Serikbayev EKSTU was presented by the team "START TO MARS": Antonov Nikolay (14-RT-1), Gazisov Aidos (14-RT-1), Ikbaeva Alina (15-b-1), Tretyakova Olga (14-b-1), Hwang Vasiliy (15-b-1). Supervisor is senior lecturer of "Economics and Management" Sub-Department Mezentseva L. A.

The team of the EKSTU "START TO MARS" won an honorable the 2nd place. It was symbolic that the results of the Olympiad were announced on the Day of science in Kazakhstan and the international day of Cosmonautics.

Our students gave an interview to the newspaper "Karavan", TV channel "Almaty TV" the Republican Channel "KTK".
