The first of the six summer schools in the program Erasmus+ "International cooperation of universities on the land protection in the Asiatic-European countries" was held in Italy from 4 to 10 June in 2017.

The participants of the Summer School were bachelors, undergraduates and doctoral students from the partner countries of the project: Italy, Croatia, Slovakia, China, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan.

The Summer School in Campobasso, Italy, was attended by undergraduates D.Serikbayev EKSTU: Senko A., Sagymbayev E., Suleymanova G. The summer school is aimed at transferring experience and teaching the topic "Land Degradation in the Asiatic-European Countries". Graduates received certificates on the successful passage of a summer school in Italy.

The next Summer School will be held in Slovakia, in the city of Nitra.
