On the 28th of March 2017 at the Narxoz University, Almaty there was held the IX Republican student subject Olympiad in Economics among students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

It was attended by 10 teams of higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan.

Our University was represented by a team of specialty 5B050600 "Economics" of information technology and business Department. They are the students of group 14-b-1 Nugumanov Arman, Tretyakova Olga and Olesya Tarnopol'skaya. The advisor of the team is senior lecturer of "Economics and management" Department.

According to the results of the three rounds, our team took the 3rd place and was awarded by the diploma of the 3rd degree diploma in the nomination "For will to victory".
