From the first days of academic year, students enrolled in the national program "Serpin", actively participate in public and cultural life of D. Serikbaev EKSTU. Traditional event is the festival of "Alaman", which every student has the opportunity to show their talents in sport, creativity, science.

On the 28th of February at D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan state technical University hosted the annual festival of "Alaman-2017" among students in the social project "Mangilik El zhastary – industriyaga!" - "Serpin – 2050". This competition was attended by teams of three Departments of our University: Engineering Department, Earth Sciences Department, Information technology and Business Department.

During the festival, the participants showed to the audience a vivid musical numbers, modern and folk dancing, literary readings, a fashion show, "Zhaidarman".

According to the results of the festival there were the winners in the following categories:

  • The winner of the Grand Prix of the festival "Alaman-2017" - the team of Earth Sciences Department;
  • "The best video" - the team of Earth Sciences Department;
  • "The best Director" - team of Earth Sciences Department;
  • "The best national folk number" - the team of Engineering Department;
  • "The best dance" dance "Khorezm", team of Information technology and Business Department;
  • "The best contemporary dance" - the team of Earth Sciences Department;
  • "The best Zhaidarman" - the team of Earth Sciences Department;
  • "The best pop vocal" - Sandybay Asel the student of group 16-VRK-2, Engineering Department;
  • "The best folk vocal" - Sabyrhan Daulet the student of group 16-RTK-1, Information technology and Business Department;
  • "The best instrumental number" - Kilishbaev Nurbergen, the student of group 16-ISK-1, of Information technology and Business Department.

All the winners and participants of the festival were awarded with diplomas and valuable prizes from sponsors and organizers of the event, and the winners of the Grand Prix was awarded the challenge Cup the winners of the "Alaman-2017".
